Rene’ Katz’s Bio

Rene’ Katz has a fascinating career in television and the entertainment industry as the host and producer of Hello Hollywood. Rene is also the South Florida Associate Film Manager for Los Angeles-based Atchity Entertainment International, Inc. (AEI), a full service literary and talent management company, helmed by film and television producer and literary manager Dr. Ken Atchity. As an Associate Film Manager, Rene’ coordinates with Mr. Atchity to review scripts and manuscripts within the State of Florida for AEI consideration in the motion picture, television, and publishing industries.

Rene’ is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University (M. Ed.) and the University of Florida (B. Ed.), and has utilized her experiences in business and the arts to enhance her skills in television. Rene’ interned at NBC/WPTV NewsChannel 5, West Palm Beach, working with the Emmy-award winning consumer investigative unit under the guidance of WPTV anchors and reporters Shannon Cake and Kelley Dunn. In the WPTV newsroom, Rene’ conducted investigative research for some of the area's biggest breaking news stories and apprenticed in all aspects and phases of pre-production and production, including reporting in the field.

A model and actress, Rene’ has appeared in MGM’s “Heartbreakers,” USA Network’s “Burn Notice,” and the ABC reality television show “Venus and Serena: For Real.” Rene’ is also a former member of the Fashion Modeling Board at the Palm Beach Gardens Mall. On stage, Rene' co-produced Miami's Steinway/BMI Music & Arts Showcase Series and hosted the premier of the Music/Musica Exhibit at the Miami Science Museum. Rene' also hosted the Arts Access Charity Concert held at Ft. Lauderdale’s Broward Center for the Performing Arts, and appeared as a guest on the “Palm Beach Rox” radio show.

Rene’ is the executive producer for the feature length docu-concert and documentary, CONCERT, which had its world premier at the historic Cinema Paradiso at the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival in 2011. The film presents an introspective story of an American singer songwriter and the genesis of original music, the texture that lives within a musical composition, the mosaic of stories that unfold in each song, and the artistic relevance of music to our world.

Rene’ supports community organizations in the arts and charitable causes, including the Grammy Foundation’s Grammys in the Schools, Women in Film, Russell Simmons’ RUSH Philanthropic Foundation, the Simon Wiesenthal Center, the Hollywood Radio and Television Society, the Lupus Foundation, the Multiple Sclerosis Dinner of Champions, and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
